We don’t know about you, but thinking about Christmas season gets us oh so excited for cups of hot cocoa, fuzzy socks, gift giving and holiday crafting. One of the most thoughtful ways to send your season’s greetings, your fa la las and your ho ho hos, is by adding beautiful touches to the envelope of your holiday cards. That’s why we make sure each is lined, sealed, and delivered with details that surprise and delight the recipient. Our DIY expert, Rebecca, came up with some fun and easy ways to personalize your holiday cards – from stamping, to envelope lining, and everything in between!
Got a lot of birthday parties on your calendar? Set aside a day of crafting to have a supply of beautiful home-made birthday cards at your disposal. This craft uses the Ephemera Birthday Bash kit, which allows you to mix and match a selection of 40 die cut card stock with copper foil accents. Use glue, tape, and foam squares to adhere various pieces to your cards in a plethora of ways, creating a store-quality card that is completely your own!
A few weeks ago, a group of Chicago tweens joined us in our offices for a fun day of crafting Valentines! We were blown away by their creativity and their ability to make crafting a social, yet personal, experience.
The turn of the season always brings with it a creative spark. As Fall approaches we have warm colors and rich patterns in mind for our upcoming card making workshop: Colorful Paper Tapestry. Our inspiration for these card designs comes from vibrant textiles and embroidery. We played with punches, stamps and twine to find ways to translate this artistry from fabric to paper.
