The Design Department at Paper Source is a full of color and creativity, and you don’t have to look hard to see that the team really loves inventing new things! What I love about our space are all the little surprises that pop up โ€“ the creative things people bring in and add to their workspaces or to the general office area that create the inspiring environment that we are lucky enough to enjoy each day.

Paper Source Design

Here’s one little vignette that greets us each morning when we come into work…and when we toss our recyclables on our way out the door at night – little hand-drawn recycling signs!
They just showed up one day in place of the copy paper signs that the building provided. My favorite is the Diet Coke can instead of just a generic aluminum can – quite appropriate since the bin contains ONLY Diet Coke cans! These were drawn using a black micron pen (the drawing pen of choice for the design team!) on chartreuse circle cards.

My jealousy grows more and more every time I see your workspace. And the fact that you work for the paper source! ๐Ÿ™‚ If only they were based in Boston…:(

My workspace is a compilation of things that make me smile on the inside…art prints, my grandmothers wedding photo and invitation, pretty note cards, letter press type I have found, cutting mats, rulers, and decorative papers from the paper source. And thats just the wall in front of the desk!

Seems like such an enviable place to work — what great space and creativity! Love those recycle signs!

I’ve just reorganized my workspace, but have plans for a Martha Stewart/PaperSource/UnityStampCo-inspired banner with attached clothespins to showcase recent creations and add some color.

Those signs are awesome! Plus, they’re multi-lingual.

Right now I’m into cutting things out of magazines to make a collage. I have a giant circle on my wall full of pictures of little children and above that a rainbow made of colors cut from magazines glued onto paper plates. I’m a pre- school teacher and a cardmaker. If I’d had enough scraps I would have made the rainbow out of scraps of cardstock. (I like to use those to actually make CARDS, though!) It makes me happy to look at them every day!
