LOVE LOVE How-to’s, please keep them coming!

  • jlynn says:

as a very dedicated customer of PS, i absolutely loved when this blog was introduced. I think it’s GREAT! I have always wondered though, what it would be like to have a “Customer’s Share” type of tab somewhere on the blog or website. A place where customers can CONTINUALLY share their ideas, photos of projects, and inspirations for others to read!

  • Cynthia says:

I LOVE your store and all the great ideas you post on your blog and FB. It’s hard to find contemporary ideas for crafts these days. Thank you for all you do!

  • Nicole says:

I love when you post how-to’s and ideas of how to use your products in ways that we might not have thought of! It’s so inspiring and keeps me coming back for more each & every time! I also love when you post about the workshops offered at your stores…this is so fun to see and it makes me SO excited that I have a new location popping up in my neighborhood soon! Keep up the awesome work…I’m so glad that I discovered Paper Source – being a paper lover, it’s the absolute perfect place for me to ‘hang out’ online…and I cannot wait to get my hands on the new PS colors!!!!

in keeping with the PS motto & my coffee mug, I would like to maybe see some short, quick ways to “be creative everyday”. Sometimes a quick sentence will spark a whole new idea or gigantic project. You know, for those days that we need a bit of a nudge. You could even have a “Top 10 list” per medium, or something. 10 Quick Things to Do With a Sticker…10 Quick Ways to Use a Scrap of Cool Paper…10 Things To Create with an Envelope…possibilities are endless and I would embrace this!

  • courtney says:

i so enjoy the blog, it’s such a great extension of the store and your ‘brand’ as it were. all of the posts are interesting but i especially like the ideas & inspirations … the recycled flower vases are a highlight that stuck in my mind – just the kind of great idea that seems totally obvious after the fact, but that i’d never have thought of on my own! in other words, just what i’ve come to rely on PS for!

  • Nikki says:

Love the paper jewelery! Your store has the coolest stuff that’s actually creative and different!

  • Lauren says:

I enjoy seeing behind-the-scenes information, especially on how your PS designs are created.

I keep coming back because of your aesthetic and great ideas. I’d LOVE a $100 gc. I’d buy a letterpress machine in a second!

  • Laura Krupp says:

Happy Birthday!!!! I loves learning how to emboss with stamps and how to make the decorative letters with decopage and your beautiful handmade papers. I threw my sister-in-law a baby shower and the baby’s whole name was surrounding the sign in book (that matched the letters). The entire shower was decorated from ideas from your site and store. I made adorable favor boxes for each guest, and even used the remaining handmade paper to decorate the diaper cake centerpieces. The shower would not have looked as beautiful without all the great paper source ideas!!! Thank you, thank you!!! I also use the blog to get ideas for my kids party invites. I don’t know what I’d do without Paper Source!!!

  • Kimberley says:

I absolutely love Paper Source! I never leave the store empty handed. My girlfriend (aka partner in card creating) and I stopped into your Armitage store in Chicago, just to get “ideas” for invitations for my upcoming wedding… you know, colors, design, sizes, the whole bit.
Ended up leaving with everything we will need to create the custom DIY invitition. Such a great place to be… I <3 PS!

  • Mindy says:

Thank you for sharing this blog and keeping it and the facebook page so updated. :)

  • Caitlin says:

I love your creative suggestions for using rubber stamps!

  • Cheryl Wilson says:

I’m not artistic and can’t draw stick people! That is why this blog is so important. Those of us who aren’t crafty can learn how to do things from those of you who are so talented. We don’t even have to leave the house! PS gives us the tools and the users give us ideas. It’s a match made in paper heaven!

  • Nicole J says:

I enjoy reading the how-to’s and seeing the creative ways you use each item. My two daughters love when your catalog comes in the mail. :)

    Thanks!

  • Janet says:

This blog along with PS website has been so helpful. I discovered PS about three years ago and it is my “go to” guide. It has step by step to appliques and I love, love, love all the color choices and its adequate names. It always has me coming back. The only thing I’d wish more of is the supplies. Its so great that they run out fast. I’ve recently started a blog and hope to start a company as well designing cards. Thank you PS for all you’ve done to help underdogs and people interested in creating like myself. Happy Birthday!!

  • Ash says:

  • Happy Birthday, and thanks for the invitation to the party! Your blog, as well as my Reston, VA Paper Source store, is a great source of creative inspiration. I love it!

  • Jill says:

Unfortunately there are no Paper Source stores in my area, so I come to the blog for ideas and as a way to feel like I am actually coming to the store! I love paper and all paper products and have really been enjoying the various how-tos! Here’s to another great year of wonderful blog posts, congratulations!

  • Sara says:

PS papers alone are an inspiration, but the how-to’s are great! It would be fun to see what other crafters out there are doing with your products.

  • Sarah says:

Admittedly, I have never taken the time to look at your blog, because when I received the emails in my inbox, I thought it was only a store wanting me to purchase, which is not something I’m doing right now. Your blog is beautiful! And the list of favorite entries – darling! I will definitely keep coming back, and I’m going to order a catalogue – so inspired by the brooch that was made from its pages! I used to make those brooches from fabric circles! Any blog that has paper and a how-to section, is my number one place to search before throwing a party of my own! Thank you for the beauty!!!

  • Rosa says:

WOW! I just looked up the 5 steps to rubber stamping and thought it was great! I didn’t know about your blog and now will look it up regularly.

  • Kelly says:

I think your blog and email updates are absolutely wonderful!!! I love getting emails indicating what’s new in the stores because they brighten my otherwise “boring” work day. It’s a little pick-me-up in the morning and makes the rest of the day more enjoyable.

I would love to see more “projects” on your blog. What women like myself can do or purchase to make our photo albums or scrapbooks better. I shop at your store in Uptown in Minneapolis, MN all the time and love it. I always look forward to my shopping trips there.

Thank you for your blog and email updates. They are greatly appreciated!

    Kelly

  • Amy says:

Favorite store..Favorite blog! Happy Birthday PS!

  • Melissa G says:

I agree with jlynn and Heather – a customer design gallery would be an awesome feature. It would allow us to share our handicrafts with an appreciative audience, and pick up new ideas and inspiration from each other.

Your shape & color guide is such a great tool, especially for a freelance designer. Thanks for putting one together!

  • MARY says:

I have just discovered your blog and I ADORE it! I especially love the birthday banner ideas and rubber stamping on chalkboards. I am a kindergarten teacher and will definitely be using both of these ideas in my classroom! Running out to my Paper Source store now for some bistro markers and stamps!

  • Tony & AmyJo says:

We purchased our wedding invitation paper with PS and used ideas from the site to create an original design for both the invitation and gifts! Our guests were impressed and we’re happy to be celebrating our one-week anniversary today!

  • I love everything about the Paper Source! I think more how to’s would be great. Also what about highlighting how people use your products for different things. As photographers we use some of your products in our marketing or promotional pieces. You could feature how different small business owners use your products.

  • Stacey says:

Thanks for the how-tos and inspiration. I’m a card maker and use your paper/envelopes almost exclusively – there’s always a perfect color for whatever I am making.

  • Jainy says:

I love love love Paper Source. One of the best parts of walking into a store is seeing all of the creative card ideas from simple classic designs to elaborate complicated idea. It would be incredible to have different kinds of cards featured on the website with instructions on how to make them on a weekly basis. Or a place of customers to submit their card ideas!

  • Elisa B. says:

I use these as inspiration for products to use for promotions, thank yous and packaging reprint orders for my photography business. Thanks for all the DIY ideas and keep them coming. Happy birthday!

I would love the opportunity for readers to share ideas and tips. Thanks!!

  • Rosie says:

I love the label templates… I’ve used them on everything from homemade jars of jam or packages of cookies to wedding invitations! The new paper colors for summer are mouthwatering, too!

  • Robin says:

The paper Source is one of my very favorite stores. I am an artist, but I also am a landscape designer. I designed my own business cards, and of course used the fine materials from the store. But what I find the mist rewarding with this blog is that after a hard day of work, inspiration to create rarely flows through my veins. Then I pop open this and BOOM! I am rearing and ready with new ideas! So, many many thanks to the creators here! I’ll be a fan for life!

  • Erin says:

I love decorating ideas. The paper hearts are so cute!!

  • en says:

Love the blog. My favorite entries were those with pdf guides (paper flowers, origami hearts). Creative but also possible!

  • Joy says:

I love all the kits, the rubber stamps and just all the beautiful colors of your products. Such loveliness!

  • angelica says:

LOVE the How-To sweet treat box, how perfect for a birthday present!

  • Ann says:

Keep giving away $100 gift certificates!

  • kathy colvin says:

Kate is 14 months, and she lives a few blocks from your Porter Square Store. I am her grandmother, and I live far from a Paper Source.
Paper Source is the first outing Kate went on, her first stroller test-drive…..and the first place her mom asked to go to try a trip out of the house after the ordeal of Kate’s introduction.
We cannot know what Kate thinks in Paper Source, but when we take her there, she is peaceful. Groovy. Sublime. And so are her mom and I.
Does this happen to other people?

  • Jane says:

Because we have the SAME BIRTHDAY and I love, love, love paper being a creative soul that I am! Smooches & matching colorful fibers to my birthday twin!! : )

  • Linda says:

Every time I go to Paper Source I come home with a bag full of goodies and a head full of ideas. My friend and I recently took a stamp carving class and had a blast! It was just a week before my sister threw me a bridal shower across the coast. We promptly changed the craft activity for the shower and my friends were so amazed and impressed with the simplicity of how to carve their own stamp. They kept thanking me for introducing them to the craft. Even my 7 year old nephew was into it!

Love the blog site which helps keep the creativity going. Sugar stamping??!! Got to try that.

  • As a devoted fan of your catalog – I have saved them all – I loved seeing them taken another step and turned into jewelry. As a life-long paper crafter, I find inspiration in so many of your posts…from the wedding cake centerpiece to the disguised foil pans. Just keep doing what you’re doing. And thank you.

  • Mark says:

    Love the paper flower kits!

  • melissa says:

    Oh my where to begin…
There are just so many inspiring items at Paper Source. I’m always thrilled to learn a new technique through your How-to tutorials. Maybe more visuals of the steps would be helpful. I especially love anything that has to do with stamping, embossing and paper folding and holiday themed art. I also like seeing creations made by other artist contributors. Maybe a community upload section of more challenge pieces would be fun. Thank you for providing the tools we need for endless creative possibilities and Happy Birthday!

  • Sara Stroman says:

I remember the first time I entered your Georgetown, DC store and fell in love. It was a combination of everything-the rich colors, paper, ribbons, card stock, rubber stamps, inks, powders, calendars, stuffed animals, frames, photo albums. It was an immediate shock to my senses. I had to open everything and touch everything. It was love. I knew I would be back again and again. And I have been. I live in NYC now and I get the bulk of my supplies from Paper Source via mail. I rented a car a couple of months ago to drive to Princeton to visit the store there. And one of my favorite Paper Source moments was three days after my dad passed away, I went into the store to find solace (I know!) and not only did I find it, but I also found the supplies to make thank you cards for friends and family that sent stuff to my house. The blog is only an extension of one of my favorite stores. It helps inspire me and brings me a ton of smiles from all the creativity that I see other fans indulge in. Being creative and passionate about that creativity is a great thing and the blog makes me feel like I’m walking directly into a store. Congrats on a year! I can’t wait to see what the next year olds!

  • Artemis says:

The personal story of Sue and the ideas for “every day” are my favorites. I only wish there were more paper source stores – – – how about one in NYC?!?

  • Trista says:

They looked so unique that we decided to use the idea ourselves!!

without you all at papersource, who would be able to give a set of Viktor & Albert’s very important tools (screwdriver, scissors and pliers) to special friends who are moving out for the first time! Or, without paper source, who would be able to find wonderful ways to make original clothing labels for the first time using exciting stamps and embossing inks! I stepped into your store a few days ago for the first time for these very reasons, so forgive me, I’m excited. On top of that, it happens to be my birthday the day after yours! In that case, I send warm and very Happy Birthday wishes! Until the next,

LOVE the how tos the PS blog offers. The hubbie and I moved from Washington DC to Michigan this year and we really miss just walking around the PS store on M street to get design ideas and the greatest organization pieces! (PS was also our go to gift place!)

Suggestions (for your already fabulous blog):
-keep the photos coming for us visual folks
-give aways= awesome! Free shipping, a pack of notecards, small gift certificates, etc. (I manage the marketing for an art studio out here and give aways have really increased our online followers/in store customers!)
-a custormer creation or guest blog section would be great! (Customers could propose a project plan and then post a blog or two showing their progress!)

I also love the “Do something creative everyday” tip idea.

    Thanks for all you do!

I subscribe to several blogs, and this is the one I visit first *and* always–I never let a post go by! Even though I’m new to paper crafting, I open your blog ahead of several on my first crafting love, knitting. Why? Because you really live up to your motto to do something creative every day, which I’ve adopted as my motto. I seek inspiration more than products being hawked (which is why I don’t open other blogs as much). Don’t get me wrong–I love your products and have to say that I’ve turned several others onto PS with my very cool calendar in my office (some months just don’t last long enough!). I do feel a tinge of guilt buying too much paper so it would be good to see more on recycling/re-using. Keep up the good work and Happy Birthday to you!!

  • Carolyn V says:

Tutorials are great – Although I am a cardmaker, I find that inspiration can come from any creative idea.

Love, love the blog! My relationship with PaperSource started when I lived in Boston, where I could attend workshops and visit the store. Over the years I have created many birthday and shower invites, decorations and holiday cards etc. In the last 3 years we moved to Indianapolis, and although my true desire is for you to open a Paper Source here (it would be sooo well received!!!), the blog is a wonderful way for me to get inspired and stay connected! Happy Birthday!

  • Marci says:

I’m so lucky to live in Atlanta close to a P.S. store, but my crafty Tennessee sister is not as lucky! For her your website is the a link to a store where she has been known to spend $100 at once. She makes one of a kind cards and invitations for family and friends and does scrap booking.

I’m a K-5 art teacher in a Title I school district, so obviously the store is a source of serious temptation. I particularly love the novelty and gift items like faux mustaches, toys, and books. Your blog gives me ideas of things I can do for my own creativity or with my students as projects.

  • Marianne says:

    Love all the projects.

  • Susan says:

How much do i love Paper Source, let me count the ways!!!! I have so many creative uses with the gifts and kits at Paper Source, more so than any other website. Since i am a “decorative” designer, i’m the person people come to when they want something “different” for weddings and class reunions. I would have to say that about 80% of the time, i create very personally and “one of a kind” decorations from the items i purchased from Paper Source. It’s my all time favorite place on the internet. My husband told me one day that i should buy “stock” in the company, that’s how much i use Paper Source. My favorite catalog i receive in the mail is, of course, Paper Source. I’m on the website more than i can even count on a daily basis. I recently had a friend whose daughter married in April in an outdoor ceremony under a magnificent tree that was planted when she was born. The bride to be loved magnolia blossoms, and the magnolia trees on the farm had just started to show buds on the branches. That meant that there was a good chance the magnolias would not be in full bloom by the time she married. And the florist told her that it would hard to find fresh magnolias, and even then, they wouldn’t last long(magnolias turn brown after they have matured), but she was determined to find “something” to make her bridal bouquet, and bridesmaids’ bouquets. My friend and her daughter came by my house one day, and started talking about the wedding and what a hard time they were in finding really simple items. Carren, my friend, was already getting stressed out because her daughter, Jacee, loved Magnolias(if you live in the South, you are going to love magnolias!) and wanted to use them as her wedding theme. So they came to me to see if i had any fresh ideas, and i said, “Well you’re in luck, i actually purchased some paper flower kits from Paper Source to use at church for a luncheon and still had some kits left over. Most of the kits were magnolias. Jacee took to the flowers being paper right off the bat!!! It was something new and different and no one else had ever used that idea in a wedding event. Soooo, i put together the “giant” magnolia blossom, and took a very pale blue and pink chalk powder and used my “sweepers” to slightly brush on the colors inside the center of the flower, on out to the edges of the bloom. It was totally amazing! And Jacee was knocked over with excitement!!!! Carren took her grandmother’s handkerchief and ribbon to create a wrap around the stem of the magnolia. The magnolia bloom was breathless. So then i showed her the different color patterned smaller magnolia kits, and we took them to make the bridesmaids’ bouquets. They looked even better. Then we took some more of the smaller flowers and used them on the end of streamers hanging down from the branches of the wedding tree. Jacee and Mike exchanged their vows under the streamers and it was picture perfect. We also made a few of the larger magnolia blooms and placed them strategically on the center of the reception tables, with just a few “dinner” style candles surrounding them. It was simple and elegant. On the others tables, we mixed larger and smaller blooms, and then we placed some of them on the wedding cake, and around the bottom layer. We had them everywhere!!!! After the ceremony, some of the wedding guests came up to Jacee and gasped when they learned that the magnolia blossom bridal bouquet was “not” real, but in fact “paper.” It became the hot topic all during the reception. When they asked where i got them, without hesitation, i told them about Paper Source and what other items they offered. I’m sure i’ve sent some customers your way!!!!! For over two years, i have put in a requests for gerbera daisy kits from your company. They finally added them, and i’m already committed to 8 weddings this summer using these kits. With the economy being in a “slump” for the last couple of years, “brides to be” were looking for good ideas to use in weddings that would be simple, cost effective, and eco-friendly. Paper Source delivered all three. I saw Jacee the other day at church, and she told me that she placed her large magnolia bloom bridal bouquet on some vintage Southern books on an antique table in her and Mike’s master bedroom. She says that she still has people who come to visit and they ask her how in the world she was able to “preserve” her bridal bouquet, and then she pointed out that it was “paper.” They all reacted in the same way, with disbelief. I love this site, and will always continue to buy these great products. I really love getting the “gag” gifts for some of my family members during Christmas. Paper Source has everything for anything, and for less the cost. I’m forever a fan!

  • brittany says:

Now that my 2 1/2 year old is getting more interested in arts and crafts, I would like to see more kids projects and for a broader age range (starting younger). Happy Birthday and keep up the awesome work!!

  • Anng says:

Your blog is the perfect extension to your retail stores (especially since there isn’t a store in every state!) If I can’t make an in-store demo, I can usually find something similar on your blog. With budgets getting tighter, this is a fantastic resource for those of us who still want to create things that look like a million bucks, but since they’re DIY they cost a lot less. I would love to see more real life examples. There are so many great ideas out there!

  • Valerie says:

I love everything Paper Source! From the products, the store, the email newsletter, the blog, and even the snail mail catalog (get ideas, make a shopping list, and then use the catalog in my crafting)! On the occasions when I don’t have it in my budget to purchase something from PS, I ALWAYS leave inspired! Keep up the good work, fellow artists!

  • Jessica says:

I love the inspiration that comes from the products and how-tos!

  • tiffany says:

I need more ideas on photo scrap-booking, but i do most of my scrap-booking in the computer with templates, so how do i add the personal touches the same way or at all if i am using tinyprints or snapfish?

  • Sarah says:

Paper, paper, paper!!! I’d love to see new projects on the blog using your new papers. It will keep me updated on what’s new at the store (since I am not near any of your locations, sadly)- and it will keep my creative juices flowing at the same time!

Happy birthday PS Blog! The stamping with powdered sugar was pretty awesome – my favorite post thus far! Keep up the great DIY tips!

Also – a way for customers to submit photos of our projects and stuff would be great! A third to that notion!

Only complaint – maybe more art supplies? I’d love to get down with some unmounted linoleum so I can do some hand-carved printing with the Epic 6 :D

  • Kathryn A says:

I love to see the super simple projects that can be done in a little bit of spare time with scissors and glue. Bookmarks are a personal favorite – any and every kind. And projects that just show a creative use for any favorite paper, the de-stashing type projects that make me want to dig in to my collection and start working.

I’m not sure that helps, but I love the blog and love the contest! Thanks!!

  • Angela says:

  • Diane says:

I love, love, love my “Create” mug from Paper Source and I use it daily. It reminds me to be open about trying new things and to always add a personal touch to everything I do daily. I think it would be great if your site had an idea generator section built within the blog. A place that let individuals could input what materials they are looking to use along with a listing of multiple options which would be added together to then deliver a listing of project ideas available to view as photos (from past catalogs), products and kits currently for sale at PS, DIY videos, etc. Some examples of the options to choose from could be: invitations, envelopes, thank you notes, personalized stationary, sympathy card, gift bags, goody bags, stickers, labels, photo albums, photo cards, etc…, along with material listings. Thanks for all of your wonderful products and staff!

  • Christine says:

Love your store and Blog…found the most gorgeous handmade Nepalese paper. One of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Then an associate led me to a wide silver ribbon that picked up the silver within and on top of that we put a ribbon of tiny green paper leaves that looked like a vine. It was exquisite!!!

I am a little embarrassed by how much I spent, in fear that I may not be able to return sooner than I hope to, but it was too hard to resist with all the fun, colorful and inspirational projects. Offering completed projects lets me see how *I* would like to do and change them, and knowing I can get all the things that made the project in one place (your store or online) would make it perfect!

Let me count the ways…1) I have a passion for paper-the touch, smell, colors, textures, paper cuts, I love it all! 2) Paper Source is such a luxury for me because they’re aren’t any in Oklahoma. I look forward to going to the Plaza in KC or to the Oak Park location when I’m in Chicago. 3) I love, love, love all of the crafting ideas and inspiration I get from the website and the store. You could ask my husband, sometimes I host baby showers and wedding showers just so I can make the invitations.
Well, I should stop at my top three reasons. Thanks again Paper Source!

I had the pleasure of visiting your store for the first time at the Old Town Alexandria store in May. The papers displayed at the front wall took my breath away! I’ve never seen such exquisite handmade papers, and told my daughters that it was like being in an art museum! (I’m a cardmaker) I savored every minute in your inspirational setting, and found myself back there the following day for two more hours! The staff was helpful and personable each time. Although I’ve returned to Michigan, I have many reminders of my visit, receive your e-mails and drop in on your website. As a Newbie, I’ve already begun to appreciate your beautiful, and “do-able” ideas and projects. We all need your soft touches and quiet beauty in these challenging days! Thank you!

  • Tina K. says:

I am so glad you now have a blog for all of us paper enthusiasts and addicts to get more inspiration for our stash. Congratulations on your one year anniversary! Why don’t you add a feature entitled “Use What You Have”? Create projects that incorporate items around the house plus embellishments or tools that are Paper Source approved. It goes along with your recycled theme on the blog, but with a twist. Keep up the good work!!

  • Susan "Joy" Schleef says:

I really enjoy reading about different ways to make use of the Paper Source papers, rubber stamps, kits, and other craft supplies! I was especially inspired today by the paper flower brooches and by the birthday flags. The flags got me thinking about a new idea for decorating our department bulletin board at the Chicago Red Cross office where I work. We always like to have some display expressing appreciation for the volunteers who help us out in our department. So next time I change that display, I’m going to drape a ribbon across the top of the board with paper pennants spelling out “Thank you”. I was already thinking about putting the volunteers’ photos inside of big paper stars for the 4th of July, so then I can put red, white, and blue pennants hanging above the stars. I can’t wait to start working on it!

I have been shopping at The Paper Source for over 10 years and I still love it! It is easy, the products are always amazing and they always have what you need. :)

  • Marsha says:

I agree, it would be great to see other customers’ creations.

I once had to come up with a ‘card’ for a huge farewell party. But it’s always a nightmare trying to make sure every person signs a card during a party… So I used your accordion book (bookboard and black insert with Japanese washi covers and smaller rectangles of a pale Stardream affixed to each page, showing names of parents who sent in contributions for the teacher’s farewell gift.
It fit perfectly in one of your invitation boxes (the A7 box mailer). I could keep adding names right up til the last minute (and had extra rectangles in case my efforts at calligraphy messed up or I caught a misspelling). I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I was on deadline & just barely made it to the party in time with the gift! Someday I’ll do it again…
Please keep stocking the gorgeous washi papers! Many thanks for lots of stuff to be creative with!

  • Lucinda says:

Happy Birthday to the blog! I love the instructions from the blog, as well as employees at your Paper Source stores! The examples I’ve seen have inspired me to make 25 paper flower arrangements for a wedding shower, and numerous wedding/baby shower invitations. The suggestion of having customers be able to post thier work is a great idea that someone already suggested in an earlier post. Thank you Thank you Thank you for helping me be more creative!

Same daughter’s baby shower hoisted animal cut-outs (which were cut from one of your animal wrapping papers) on skewers in jungles of grassy plants as centerpieces. So cute! One of a kind!

Congratulations on your first year, and I’m always eager to see what clever hands and minds have created.

  • Rhonda says:

I love the variety of paper products offered – there are times when I find myself wishing I could get just about everything on your site. My very favorites have to be your gorgeous decorative papers. I use them for everything from wrapping very special gifts and often cut out pieces within a design, glam them up with all kinds of glittery, glitzy bits and pieces, make super sized adornments from the paper in place of standard ribbons but invariably will add ribbons of some sort as stems, leaves, etc. to further enhance the design. It is always fun to give a gift using your wrapping and find the recipient has saved not just the paper for her own project but has put my creation on display as well.

I have also used decorative papers and papers I’ve embellished as background mats so to speak for great photos and then use bits and pieces of papers, envelopes, etc to further decorate the frames. What is wonderful to me is knowing no one else is doing exactly the same work (or play) as I am yet we are all creating with the same products. I also would love to see professional level instructions and one thing I think would be grand to see more of are papers on the more masculine side.

  • Came to the Paper Source for the first time last week and LOVE it! Can’t wait to bring my girlfriend!

I’ve not looked at the PS blog before, but after reading only the first post on “perfect rubber stamping” and seeing how easy a project that would be, I will definitely check back often! I <3 Paper Source!!

For me, blogs are an escape…little mini vacations in a normal working day. Your Paper Source blog is inspiring and creative all in one! I love to come back again and again. Happy Birthday Paper Source!

I get your newsletter letting me know what’s new in your store, but I love your blog, especially the How to Projects. The office birthday ideas was one of my favs, thank you so much!
